Our Commitment

Our commitments to you

  • Diversity, equity, and inclusion

At Bill-e-Buddy, diversity, equity and inclusion are not box-ticking exercises. They are part of why we exist.

We are building for people who are often overlooked by traditional financial tools, especially neurodivergent people who need money support that feels clear, kind and usable. That means listening properly, designing with different needs in mind, and making sure our language, features and decisions reduce shame rather than add to it.

We are committed to creating an inclusive culture where different backgrounds, brains and lived experiences are respected. We want people to feel safe to contribute, challenge ideas and ask for what they need.
For our team, that means flexible ways of working, clear communication, fair opportunities and a low-blame approach to learning. For our community, it means accessible design, transparent choices and financial support that meets people where they are.

Inclusion is not a side project for us. It is central to building Bill-e-Buddy well.

  • Social impact commitment

Bill-e-Buddy exists to reduce one very real social challenge: the financial stress and “ADHD Tax” that many neurodivergent people live with every day.

Money admin can be harder when traditional systems rely on memory, consistency, confidence and low executive load. That can lead to missed payments, late fees, avoidance, shame and a sense of being “bad with money” – when the real issue is often that the tools were not designed with different brains in mind.

Our social impact is about making financial life calmer, clearer and more manageable. We want to help people understand what is safe-to-save, take small practical steps, and feel supported without judgement.

We are building with compassion, accessibility and consent at the centre. That means plain language, gentle prompts, clear choices and features that reduce overwhelm rather than punish people for struggling.

If Bill-e-Buddy does its job well, people should feel more in control, less ashamed, and better able to make everyday money decisions that support their life.

  • Work-life balance

At Bill-e-Buddy, work-life balance starts with designing work in a way that respects real life, real energy and real brains.

We know that people do their best work when they have clarity, flexibility and room to manage their wellbeing. That matters even more in a team building for neurodivergent people, because we cannot create calmer systems externally while ignoring how people work internally.

Our approach is to support clear priorities, flexible working patterns, realistic workloads and honest communication. We want people to feel able to speak up early, ask for support, and protect focus time without guilt. We value sustainable progress over constant urgency.

That means keeping meetings purposeful, using written updates where helpful, allowing recovery time after intense work, and treating rest as part of doing good work, not a reward for overdoing it.

As Bill-e-Buddy grows, we want our culture to reflect the same values we build into the product: kind defaults, low shame, clear choices and support that helps people feel steady, capable and respected.
